Houston Museum of Natural Science Classes 2026-2027
WHAT: Lab enrichment classes for students in grades K–12. Additional afternoon special exhibits may also be offered (space is limited).

K–5th grade: General science labs (no dissections)

6th–12th grade: Advanced labs with dissections

Each group will be limited to 25 students maximum

A minimum of 2 parent volunteer chaperones is required per class
-
Discounted parking is available for parent chaperones
WHEN: Classes are 1 hr each on a Friday per month (Sept 2026 - May 2027).
Please note your child will need to be picked up from their class at the end because there will be no chaperones available after that time.

COST/TUITION:
$100 per student K-5th
$110 per student 6th-12th (includes dissections)
If you register after August 27, 2026 tuition is $110 per student for grades K–5 and $120 per student for grades 6–12. If registering late please contact our leadership team at [email protected]
The purchase of labs allows each student attending labs and one accompanying parent/chaperone into the permanent exhibit halls at no charge.
Every lab day you can add extra's like the butterfly exhibit, planterium, etc. at discounted prices.
