Additional afternoon special exhibits are available at a discounted price and can be purchased at the museum.

- When you get to the museum, you will pull up the barcode (This will be sent to you the week of the lab class) and head straight to any entrance to the Museum. You may bring a printed copy of the barcode or show the barcode on your phone. They will ask you how many students are registered for the lab, and they will scan your barcode for the registered students and up to that many chaperones in attendance as well. If there are additional guests, they will need to have their tickets ready to be scanned as well. (If you would like to bring an additional guest please reachout to Renee at [email protected] to see if we have room for extra chaperones so the guest would not have to pay)
- Once they scan your ticket, you can head down to your designated labs. At the lab classrooms, you will pick up your chaperone sticker which will serve as your ticket for the day. Please only pick up one per chaperone.
- Enjoy the Museum and/or your lab!
Parking
If any parents/chaperones park in the HMNS museum garage, they may receive discounted parking tickets at the Box Office. Just tell the cashier that you need a Chaperone Parking Pass and show your chaperone sticker. They will give you a $15.00 ticket instead of a $30.00 ticket. Parents who are members will only be charged $10.00 for a parking ticket. Free parking lots are available in the area, and the Garden Center lot (Lot C) generally has plenty of available 3-hour parking spaces. The zoo lots are also a nice option if parking is especially busy.
For classes starting later in the day, we recommend arriving early as the Museum can be quite busy!
